APPLICATION PROCESS
Thank you for your interest in the School of Music graduate curriculum. There are a variety of meaningful programs leading to the master's degree in music for students interested in pursuing a post-baccalaureate education. In addition to academic studies, the School of Music offers students many performance opportunities with large ensembles and chamber groups. Faculty recitals and three concert series provide a plethora of professional listening experiences and often workshops with our visiting artists and scholars. All applicants for the Master of Music or Master of Arts degree program must have a completed baccalaureate degree in music, or the equivalent, at an accredited institution of higher education. Applicants must also have earned a grade point average of B (3.0) or better in the last 60 hours of their undergraduate degree program. Additional requirements vary according to the major area of study.
