Open to band students entering grades 6-9. Those entering grade 9 are eligible for either the JHS Band Camp, one of our HS Band, Choir, and Piano Camps, or both.

Mizzou Senior High School Band, Choir, and Piano Camps
Dates TBA

Open to students entering grades 9-12 and entering college freshman. Band and choir campers should have one year previous ensemble experience. Pianists will be asked for a recording and recommendation from their current piano teacher.

The Mizzou Band, Choir and Piano Camp provides students an enriching curriculum of full ensemble rehearsals, private instruction, sectionals, and electives taught by music educators from throughout the state. All choir campers will also participate in show choir. The week will culminate in a final concert.

Piano students can enjoy a highly focused curriculum including daily piano lessons with MU School of Music faculty, practice time, technique classes, musicianship classes, special evening activities, and performances. The camp will end with recitals for family and friends on Friday afternoon.

Esterhazy String Quartet Seminar

A highly selective scholarship-based program open to string players ages 15-18 by audition and teacher recommendation.

This inspiring and challenging chamber music experience for advanced high school string students is one of the oldest summer chamber music seminars in the country. Sixteen gifted high school students, under the guidance of the Esterhazy Quartet, immerse themselves in great chamber music from the classical to the modern.

The Missouri Summer Composition Institute (or "C.O.M.P. Camp") is an exciting opportunity for some of Missouri's young composers to will receive composition lessons from MU faculty and compose a piece to be premiered at the end of the week by a resident ensemble
