The program includes the world premiere of a new work by MU master’s student Patrick David Clark, the 2011 winner of the Sinquefield Prize, the School of Music’s annual competition recognizing the top student composer. Entrants submit previously composed pieces, and then the winner is commissioned to write a new piece for one of the School of Music’s ensembles, to be premiered at the Chancellor’s Concert.
