Missouri Youth Orchestra, a youth performance organization sponsored by MU’s School of Music, offers performance opportunities to auditioned wind, string and percussion players in grades eight through 12 through the following:

  • A challenging and unique repertoire of music literature
  • Individual, small ensemble and large group instruction
  • Public performances in a variety of settings
  • Master Classes
  • Chamber music opportunities
  • Annual Concerto Competition
