If you apply for financial aid, you will learn about University scholarships and grants. Music scholarships are also available to talented freshmen and transfer students, based primarily on performance ability. Past musical achievement and academic success are also considered.

Music scholarships are primarily directed at talented music and music education majors, although a very small number of non-major scholarships are awarded to highly talented performers each year in connection with participation in ensembles.  Please email music@missouri.edu if you have questions about auditions.

How to Audition

The School of Music holds at least three audition dates each year. Auditions can also be arranged at the convenience of the student and individual instructors. Please see Mizzou Music Days for information.
