May 18-Day 5

Today we took the seven hour bus commute to Stockholm. After arriving, we enjoyed an extensive driving tour of the city. That evening, we settled into our hotel.

May 19-Day 6

Today’s highlight was the Vasa Museum, the most visited museum in the Sweden. The main attraction was a sunken ship that had been under water for 333 years. It was an incredible learning experience. The evening was spent perusing the city center of Stockholm. We explored the longest pedestrian shopping street in Sweden, saw the opera house, and enjoyed many of the cities parks.

May 20-Day 7

In the morning, many members went to various churches around Stockholm for Sunday morning mass. The entire choir commuted to Maria Magdalina church for a joint concert. The semi professional choir presented a program of extreme musicality and expression. The energy of our portion of the concert was exquisite. Afterwards, the host choir treated us to dinner and social time. Truly, some of the most rewarding moments are spent eating and laughing with fellow musicians from across the world.

May 21-Day 8

The choir enjoyed a morning to themselves. Many members went back into Stockholm while other members enjoyed sleeping in. We caught a ferry ride from Stockholm to Tallin. The overnight luxurious ferry ride was incredible.
