Mid-Missouri Community Orchestra (MMCO)

The Mid-Missouri Community Orchestra (MMCO) provides an informal, positive, and supportive community orchestra experience for adults of any level of experience.  Both string and wind instruments are welcome.  The orchestra has been performing since the early 2000s, first under the direction of Pamela Gibb and later with Jeanne Lambson. The group is now part of MU's Community Music Program (coordinated by Emily Edgington Andrews).

Instruction

The MMCO orchestra is composed of musicians who began learning their instruments as adults and musicians who learned earlier in life and are looking for a relaxed, informal orchestra experience.  It includes both string and wind instruments.

The group rehearses two Monday evenings each month, with a performance at the end of each semester.

Please bring a stand to rehearsals.

Rehearsal location: Fine Arts Annex, Room 18; Parking available in the accompanying lot.

Instructor: Jesús Gómez
