Being only one of 20 public universities noted for its combination of affordability and strong academic quality strengthens Mizzou and highlights the value of a quality education gained at the University. The six programs recognized as having a high-profile were journalism, agriculture, health sciences, music, business, and engineering. Offering several courses for non majors as well as a variety of free or low cost concerts, recitals, lectures and master classes helps the School of Music showcase its high quality teaching and student achievement.
