Each January, ensembles from the MU School of Music participate in a recruiting tour. This year’s tour will take two groups to the St. Louis area to visit ten different schools. The University Singers, the top choir in the School under the direction of Dr. R. Paul Crabb, and the Wind Ensemble, the top concert band in the School under the direction of Dr. Brian Silvey, will embark on a three day tour of high schools, churches, and performance venues to introduce new Tigers to our school and offer supporters and alums a chance to see a piece of Mizzou Music in their community. Both ensembles have been selected by competitive application to perform at the Missouri Music Educators Conference on January 24 down at the Lake of the Ozarks and will be performing this program, in addition to other selections, on this tour.
