Full Bands
All school buses and official school equipment vehicles will need to enter at Champions Drive from WESTBOUND Stadium Blvd. Please reference the Band Day Parking Map for arrival and parking flow. In order to unload near the Marching Mizzou Practice Field, your vehicles MUST ARRIVE BEFORE 2:00 PM. When unloading, please have your students ready to exit the buses with equipment as fast as possible after you are greeted by your Marching Mizzou Band Guide. You will not be permitted to park and unload for an extended period of time. Unfortunately, after 2:00 PM, the University Police will not allow you to enter this area of campus; rather, you will be directed immediately to Truman’s Landing and will have to walk your students and equipment to the Marching Mizzou Practice Field.
After drop-off, buses and support vehicles must park in Truman's Landing off Providence Road near the MU Research Reactor. University Police and Event Parking services has been provided a list of schools and the buses/equipment vehicles you plan to bring. These vehicles (and no others) will be permitted to park in Truman’s Landing as indicated on the Band Day Parking map. Parking passes for these vehicles will be in your welcome packet which you will receive upon arrival. Beginning two hours prior to kick-off, a complimentary shuttle can transport bus/equipment vehicle drivers to the stadium from Truman's Landing. More details can be found at https://mutigers.com/sports/2015/5/26/shuttles.
If you choose to depart before the end of the game, buses can pick up students near the intersection of Mick Deaver and Champions Drive or in the gravel area near Lot G off Champions Drive, so as long as traffic is not obstructed. If you wait until the end of the game to depart, buses will not be able to enter the area near the stadium and bands will have to walk down Mick Deaver and across Providence to reach your bus in Truman’s Landing.

Individuals
For individual participants (not attending with their full band), all personal cars will need to find alternate parking either in a campus garage or other location. A map of public parking can be found at https://mutigers.com/sports/2015/5/26/where_to_park. If the registered chaperone has already parked their car in designated visitor parking, they may come to the Marching Mizzou Practice Field with the participant. Otherwise, the chaperone will need to drop off their participant and then park in designated visitor parking before returning to the Marching Mizzou Practice Field. Please look for the welcome table in the grassy area near the Marching Mizzou Practice Field to check in.
Upon arrival, full bands will receive the number of tickets requested on your Band Day application. If the numbers for your band have changed, please notify us by August 30 with your updated information. All representatives of your band (students, staff, directors, etc.) MUST be identified as such by wearing uniforms, staff attire, etc. Individual participants (not attending with their school band) will receive one entrance ticket for the performing student and one for their chaperone. Please note that Memorial Stadium has a clear bag policy (instrument cases as the exception). Please be prepared by reading the full policy at https://mutigers.com/sports/2017/2/22/clear-bag-policy.aspx.
All participants will enter the stadium through Gate 5E (southeast side of Memorial Stadium). Each person will need to present their ticket when entering the stadium. Bands are not permitted to troop to the stadium—traffic will not be stopped on surrounding roads.
2024 participants will be seated in section 101 in Memorial Stadium.
Bands may store large instruments on the south concourse during the game. However, a representative from your band must stay with the equipment for security purposes. Please be mindful not to block pedestrian traffic. Students ARE NOT PERMITTED TO PLAY on the concourse level or at ANY point during the game.
Participants are encouraged to eat lunch before arriving and dinner after the halftime performance. If desired, directors and individuals are welcome to bring a snack and bottled water for after the Band Day Rehearsal, but this snack must be consumed outside of Memorial Stadium. Participants are permitted to bring one sealed water bottle into the stadium.
If you choose to stay for the remainder of the game after halftime, full service concession stands are available around the stadium concourse. All concession stands are cashless. If needed, vouchers can be purchased in lieu of cash at guest services on the east and west sides of the stadium.
Columbia has many dining options for lunch and dinner, including a food court in the Columbia Mall which allows for convenient bus parking.
Full bands and individual participants are welcome to perform in your marching uniform or a casual uniform (such as khaki pants and a polo shirt) option at your discretion. Marching Mizzou will be in full uniform.
You are encouraged to have your students in uniform when you arrive as there are limited places to change on-site. Porta-Potties are available near the Marching Mizzou Practice Field and in the parking lots.
