"We Remember” Open Mic event

-
Traditions Plaza

Please join the College of Arts and Science at Traditions Plaza on Monday, April 26 from 1:30pm-2:30pm for a precious time of remembrance and reflection on the tragic loss of George Floyd and others.

Our “We Remember” Open Mic event will feature music and poetry to help us heal and reflect as a community, particularly as we approach the end of the semester. Please come participate, whether that is to share your music and poetry or to listen and appreciate and heal together.

Special thanks to our beloved Social Justice Centers for helping to plan this event. In addition, thanks to the School of Music, Departments of Black Studies, Women’s and Gender Studies, and Theatre. Also, thanks to the Black Faculty and Staff Organization for its support. Big shout out to Piper Stow (Senior, BM, Music Education) for creating our flyer.
